Thank you for your previous assistance with embedding my externally hosted transparent WebM character videos in Genially. I have now been able to get the transparent animated characters onto the Genially canvas, but I am experiencing inconsistent playback behavior when navigating between pages.

I have tested three characters, and each behaves differently:

Character 1 – Isabella

• On the initial page visit, she animates and speaks on the first click.

• Clicking her again pauses the video, and clicking again resumes it.

• However, if I navigate to the next page and then use the Back button to return to Isabella's page, she will no longer animate when clicked.

Character 2 – Addy

• When her page is reached normally from the beginning of the presentation, she does NOT animate on the first click.

• If I navigate forward to the next page and then return to Addy's page, she then works.

• Once she is working, clicking her pauses and resumes the animation correctly.

Character 3 – Gabriel

• He animates and speaks correctly on the first click when his page is reached.

• However, unlike Isabella and Addy, clicking him again does not pause the video. Once started, his animation continues until the video finishes.

The transparent WebM files themselves work, and the characters display correctly on the Genially canvas. The problem appears to be related to how the embedded video/player is initialized or reinitialized as the user navigates between Genially pages.

My required behavior is:

Enter page → click character to play → click again to pause → click again to resume → navigate away → return to page → character remains immediately clickable and functional.

This is for an interactive Kindergarten reading curriculum, so students will frequently use Back, Home, and Next buttons. I eventually need to use this method for nine animated characters throughout multiple interactive books.

Could you please advise whether Genially's page navigation unloads or preserves embedded <video> elements, and whether there is a recommended HTML/video configuration that reliably reinitializes the player whenever a Genially page is entered or revisited?
